Welcome to ScenesFlow (hereinafter referred to as the "Software").

Developed by the Weeko Team (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our"), the Software is dedicated to providing users with an efficient, secure, and privacy-focused local macOS productivity tool experience.

We highly value your privacy and adopt a "Local-First" design philosophy:

ScenesFlow does not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal data. By default, your data is strictly stored locally on your device.

This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how the Software handles data, uses system permissions, and protects your privacy rights.

I. Data Processing Principles

1. Local Data Storage

ScenesFlow is a local application that runs within the macOS App Sandbox. Data generated by the Software, including but not limited to:

  • Software configurations;
  • User preferences;
  • Clipboard history;
  • Screenshot-related data;
  • Color sampling records;
  • Local feature data;

are stored exclusively within the local App Sandbox environment on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers, nor is it transmitted to any third-party services.

2. No Cloud Syncing

ScenesFlow currently does not offer cloud syncing features. The Software will not sync user data via the following services:

  • iCloud;
  • Dropbox;
  • Google Drive;
  • Other third-party cloud storage services.

Your configurations, history records, and local data are managed entirely by your device.

3. No Collection of User Behavior Data

ScenesFlow does not include any analytics services for collecting user behavior data. We do not collect:

  • Software usage duration;
  • Feature usage frequency;
  • Operational behavior logs;
  • Screen content;
  • File content;
  • Clipboard content.

The Software does not engage in:

  • Ad tracking;
  • User profiling;
  • Cross-app tracking;
  • Background behavior monitoring.

II. Feature Data Processing Details

1. Clipboard Features

ScenesFlow provides Clipboard history management.

To enable this feature, the Software needs to read the system Clipboard content and save relevant records locally based on your actions.

Clipboard data is:

  • Used exclusively for providing Clipboard management features;
  • Saved locally on your device;
  • Never uploaded to servers;
  • Never shared with third parties.

ScenesFlow will not:

  • Automatically analyze Clipboard content;
  • Build user profiles based on Clipboard information;
  • Use Clipboard data for advertising or commercial purposes.

2. Screenshot and Color Picker Features

The Screenshot and Color Picker features of ScenesFlow require the "Screen Recording" permission provided by macOS.

This permission is strictly used to:

  • Execute screenshots actively triggered by the user;
  • Allow users to select screen areas;
  • Acquire screen pixel information for color sampling.

ScenesFlow will not:

  • Continuously record your screen in the background;
  • Automatically capture screen content;
  • Monitor your screen activity;
  • Upload screenshots or screen data.

All screenshots and color information are processed entirely locally on your device.

3. Away Lock Feature

ScenesFlow provides an "Away Lock" feature designed to offer an app-level screen lock when you briefly step away from your device.

This feature:

  • Achieves a locking effect solely through a local interface overlay;
  • Does not read your file content;
  • Does not collect screen content;
  • Does not upload any screen information.

The state information required to run the Away Lock is used exclusively to maintain its functionality and is stored locally on your device.

III. System Permissions

To deliver its functionality, ScenesFlow may request the following macOS system permissions:

1. Screen Recording

Purpose:

  • Execute screenshots actively triggered by the user;
  • Acquire screen pixel information;
  • Support the color sampling feature.

This permission is never used for background recording or monitoring your screen.

2. Files and Folders Access

Purpose:

  • Save files actively created or exported by the user;
  • Read files that the user has authorized access to;
  • Manage local data related to the Software.

This permission is strictly used to enable features actively utilized by the user.

IV. Information Voluntarily Provided by You

If you contact us via:

  • The in-app feedback feature;
  • Our official email;

You may voluntarily provide:

  • Contact information;
  • Issue descriptions;
  • Log files;
  • Screenshots or attachments.

This information is strictly used to:

  • Analyze Software issues;
  • Provide technical support;
  • Improve the Software experience.

We will not:

  • Sell this information;
  • Use it for advertising or marketing;
  • Share it with unrelated third parties.

V. Data Security and Protection

1. Data Access Restrictions

Because ScenesFlow utilizes a localized storage design, we cannot directly access the following on your device:

  • Screenshot data;
  • Clipboard records;
  • Software configurations;
  • User-created data.

Unless you voluntarily provide relevant content to us through feedback channels.

2. Data Backups

ScenesFlow does not provide cloud backup services.

In the event of:

  • Hardware damage;
  • System reinstallation;
  • Disk failures;
  • User's manual deletion of local data;

The relevant data may not be recoverable.

We strongly recommend that you regularly use Time Machine or other backup tools to secure your important data.

VI. Data Deletion

If you wish to delete the data saved by ScenesFlow, you can:

  1. Uninstall the Software;
  2. Delete the local app data created by ScenesFlow within the macOS system.

Because the macOS App Sandbox manages app data according to system rules, the specific storage location may vary depending on your system version, app configurations, and Software version.

Once the relevant local data is deleted, the saved information cannot be recovered.

VII. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy based on changes in Software features, legal requirements, or privacy protection standards.

The updated version will be published on our official website or within the Software.

By continuing to use ScenesFlow, you signify your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
