WEEKO COLOR GUIDE
Pick, inspect, and organize colors
This guide covers the current Weeko Color workflow from screen access to matrix generation, contrast checks, and local color management.
Your first color workflow
- 1
Choose a source
Start the screen picker, open the macOS color panel, or enter a value in the active-color field.
- 2
Review the matrix
Inspect the active HEX, RGB, and HSB values and browse the generated light-to-dark suggestions.
- 3
Test contrast
Set text and background colors, read the ratio and AA/AAA results, and check the live content preview.
- 4
Keep the result
Copy the needed format, add the color to favorites, or leave it in the local recent list.
Useful habits
- Use the swap control to test both foreground/background directions.
- Check color-vision simulation when meaning depends on color alone.
- Favorite approved values so experiments do not crowd the working set.
- Treat generated matrix steps as suggestions and validate them in the real interface.
Your palette stays local
Weeko Color stores recent colors, favorites, and settings on this Mac. Nothing is uploaded merely because you sample, inspect, or save a color.
