Weeko Color Terms of Use
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Terms govern your download, installation, purchase, and use of Weeko Color (the "Software"), provided by Weeko Team. By using the Software, you accept these Terms and the Weeko Color Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use it.
1. License and permitted use
Subject to these Terms, applicable law, and App Store rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on macOS devices you own or control. The Software is licensed, not sold.
Except where law expressly permits, you may not reverse engineer or derive source code; bypass licenses, purchases, permissions, or security; redistribute, rent, resell, sublicense, or commercially host the Software; remove proprietary notices; interfere with the Software or App Store; or use it to violate law, confidentiality, privacy, intellectual property, accessibility representations, or the rights of others.
2. Color results and professional judgment
Weeko Color provides screen sampling, format conversion, tonal matrix suggestions, recent and favorite colors, contrast calculation, content previews, and color-vision simulations. Results can differ because of display profiles, color spaces, transparency, compositing, scaling, ambient light, screenshots, target software, browser rendering, fonts, anti-aliasing, rounding, operating-system changes, or human perception.
Contrast ratios and AA/AAA indicators are design aids based on the values supplied to the Software. Palette suggestions and simulations are not guarantees of accessibility, regulatory compliance, brand suitability, visual equivalence, or appearance on every device. You must test the final product in its actual environment and obtain qualified accessibility, legal, or design review when appropriate.
3. User content and exports
You retain rights in color values, palette names, preview text, and materials you lawfully enter or create. You are responsible for permission to sample, copy, store, export, publish, or share colors, design systems, trademarks, confidential assets, screenshots, and third-party work. Copied values and exported files may enter other apps or storage that Weeko Team does not control.
4. Local data and backup
Core color history, favorites, and settings are stored locally. The Software does not provide cloud backup or recovery. You are responsible for preserving palettes and exported work. We may be unable to recover content after deletion, reset, disk failure, system reinstall, device replacement, cleaning software, or app removal.
5. App Store, paid features, and updates
The Software may offer free or paid functions, subscriptions, or lifetime purchases. Features, limits, prices, regions, and entitlements are those shown in the Software and Apple App Store at purchase. Apple handles payment, tax, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and Apple ID transactions. Restore Purchases uses StoreKit. Except where law requires otherwise, refund requests are handled by Apple.
We may modify, limit, or discontinue features, requirements, and these Terms. We do not guarantee permanent availability, compatibility with every display, profile, app, website, file format, Mac, or future macOS, or uninterrupted and error-free operation.
6. Ownership and feedback
The Software, source code, interface, icons, documentation, trademarks, and website belong to Weeko Team or their licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights. Voluntary feedback may be used without restriction or payment to improve products, while personal information remains governed by the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, accuracy, accessibility compliance, color fidelity, data preservation, or continuous availability. It is not a certification, audit, medical vision assessment, legal opinion, or substitute for testing with users and assistive technology.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weeko Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, including data or palette loss, brand or production errors, accessibility claims, disclosure of confidential colors, lost profit, or reliance on inaccurate output. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. Termination and contact
The license ends if you materially breach these Terms. You may end it by stopping use and uninstalling. Ownership, responsibility, disclaimer, liability, and other provisions that must survive remain effective. Mandatory consumer law and App Store terms also apply.
