Weeko Shot Terms of Use
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Terms govern your download, installation, purchase, and use of Weeko Shot (the "Software"), provided by Weeko Team ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Software, you agree to these Terms and the Weeko Shot Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. License and eligibility
Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on macOS devices you own or control. The Software is licensed, not sold. You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement; minors may use it only with a parent or guardian where required.
You may not, except where law expressly permits: reverse engineer or derive source code; bypass licenses, purchases, permissions, or security controls; redistribute, rent, sublicense, or commercially host the Software; remove proprietary notices; use the Software to violate law, privacy, copyright, confidentiality, or the rights of others; or interfere with the Software, App Store, or related systems.
2. Captures and user responsibility
You retain rights in screen content, images, text, and annotations you lawfully create. You are responsible for having permission to capture, recognize, copy, store, edit, export, or share any content, including confidential work, personal data, copyrighted works, communications, and third-party interfaces.
Screen capture, scrolling stitching, window detection, text recognition, color sampling, annotation, image conversion, and file-library functions may be incomplete or inaccurate because of permissions, protected content, application behavior, display configuration, image quality, system updates, or technical limitations. Review results before relying on or sharing them. Do not use mosaic, annotation, cropping, or deletion as a guaranteed security or irreversible redaction method; retain the original only when appropriate.
3. Local data and files
Core data is stored locally and the Software does not provide cloud backup or recovery. You are responsible for backups and for protecting screenshots, exports, selected folders, and clipboard content. Moving, deleting, renaming, overwriting, or losing access to a file may make it unavailable. Deleting through the image library may move the original to Trash. We may be unable to recover local content after deletion, disk failure, system reinstall, device replacement, cleaning tools, or app removal.
4. App Store and paid features
The Software may offer free or paid features, subscriptions, or lifetime purchases. Current functionality, limits, price, region availability, and entitlement details are those shown in the Software and Apple App Store at the time of purchase. Apple handles payment, tax, subscription renewal and cancellation, refunds, family sharing where available, and Apple ID transactions. Restore Purchases asks StoreKit for entitlements linked to the current Apple ID. Except where law requires otherwise, refund requests must be made through Apple.
5. Updates and availability
We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features; adjust system requirements; fix security or compatibility issues; and update these Terms. Some updates may be required for continued operation. We do not guarantee permanent availability, compatibility with every Mac, app, website, protected video, display, or future macOS release, or uninterrupted and error-free operation.
6. Intellectual property and feedback
The Software, source code, interface, icons, documentation, trademarks, and website content belong to Weeko Team or their licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights. If you voluntarily provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or payment to improve products, provided we handle personal information under the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, accuracy, data preservation, or uninterrupted availability. It is a productivity utility, not a compliance, legal, evidence-preservation, forensic, archival, access-control, or guaranteed redaction service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weeko Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, including lost data, disclosure of captured content, lost profits, business interruption, or reliance on inaccurate recognition or capture. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Suspension, governing rules, and contact
Your license ends if you materially breach these Terms. You may end it by stopping use and uninstalling the Software. Provisions concerning ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive where necessary. Apple App Store terms and mandatory consumer law also apply; where these Terms conflict with non-waivable law, that law controls.
